Industrial Radio Stations

Industrial music first originated in the late 1970s. It now incorporates many styles of music such as rock, experimental noise and electronic music. It is often characterised by its aggressive and heavy nature with the lyrics often being inspired by punk incitement. Heavily distorted guitars, drum machines and synthesizers play a big part of its sound as well as the use of other non-musical instruments for percussion such as scrap metal and oil barrels.
